We just released our Chatter Points feature. Chatter Points are a way to keep score and to help you keep everybody involved with your fitness. We sent out an email that

We are also going to start giving away prizes based on Chatter Points. You can view your Chatter Points total on your profile, plus we have a dedicated page under the My Tools section. Workout sharing is a great way to stay motivated. When you get others involved, you are more likely to succeed and achieve your fitness goals.
This is advice we have all heard, but it sometimes hard to accomplish. Especially at the gym. Well, not any more. I am happy to announce that we have just released “workouts on your profile”. With this new tool, you get to share your workouts and see your friends' workouts. This brings everybody together, creating a team of supporters helping you reach your goals. It works like this. You first start tracking your workouts in the workout tracker. Once you have done this, you have the option of sharing those workouts with your friends. Your latest workout appears on your profile page with the rest of your workouts inside the workouts tab. That's it. Easy, but very effective. This is a great way to get others involved with your fitness. We sent out an email with this news today, but if you didn’t get a chance to read it, you can read it online. I’m happy to report some new changes.
We have added an instructor option to your profile. If you are an instructor at your health club, you need to update your profile so that others can find you. Go to your profile settings and click on the Exercise tab. There you will find a new option for Instructor. Change the option to Yes and then other GymChatter members can find you. Instructors are also identified throughout the GymChatter website with a blue star Don’t forget, another great way to promote your classes is through our blog section. Write a few paragraphs about your class so that members have an idea of what your class is like. Members like to know the intensity of the class, whether it is advanced or beginner, and other details that might help them make a decision on which class is best for them. Lastly, you can post your class times in the Event section of the website. It is a great way for members to find your class. If you have any questions or suggestions, send me a message. It has been a few days since my last post and I am excited to tell you about some of GymChatter’s changes.
We have been working hard to bring you the best and most useful features. Most recently, we have added the capability to search in your state, city, and health club. You will notice that the advanced search box is collapsed by default. You will also notice that it has been rearranged to make it easier to use. Another big change is in the result list from the search. A member’s health club can be clicked on allowing you to see other members from that club. My favorite change is the ability to see who is a trainer. You will notice that trainers have a red star under their picture. This is an easy way to see if someone is a trainer. We are adding features daily. Keep checking back to see what is changing. If you have any feedback or suggestions of new features, you can send me a message. I look forward to hearing from you. This is my first blog of many to come. I am very excited about the launch of GymChatter. We are working night and day to bring you new features. We recently finished the profile categories. When you go to a member’s page, you will now see all of their profile information in groups. This makes it much easier to read. We are working on making the health club experience much easier. We are installing a feature to that will make it easier to find other members at your health club. You must first go to your profile and select your health club. Once you have done that everything else should just work. When you browse, you will see your health club by default. When you browse blogs, you will see your health club by default. In addition, when you browse events you will see your health club by default. This is a great feature and we will update everybody when we are finished putting it in. Remember to invite your friends to GymChatter so that you can keep each other motivated. The more people involved with GymChatter the better it will be for everybody. So click on the invite link at the bottom of the page and bring more members into GymChatter. We are working on a new promotion that will bring gifts to our members.
