Some recent information from a seminar I attended, lead by Nancy Clark, a respected researcher. This may help to determine how much you should weigh.
Female: up to 5 feet is 100 lbs. Then add 5 lbs for every inch over 5 ft. So if you are 5' 4", your ideal weight is 120 lbs. Males: 106 lbs up to 5 ft. Then add 6 lbs for every inch. So, a 5' 10" male should weigh 166 lbs.

That sounds like a good standard for the average person.  I guess I really need to diet if I'm gonna get down to 166!  You may have seen these before, but we have a machine at our gym that measures you BMR.  You breathe into it for about 10 minutes a it measures CO2 expenditure, and measures you down to the exact calorie.  It comes in very handy when working with clients who really want weight loss.  We are able to come up with a nutrition plan with the exact caloric needs.

You've got some big arms, dude. Of course the information on body weight gets skewed for elite athletes and weight lifters. That machine to measure BMR sounds interesting. Is it a Sci Fit?

Thanks I just got lucky in the genetic department they have always grown easier then any bodypart.  I can't remember the name of it but I'll look tomorrow and work and get back to you.  We use to have a contract with a doctors office for people to use it, but they weren't keeping up with the mataince of the machine, so we just bought it from them.  I know that athletes and weightlifters calories are different, thats why I hate the BMI scale.

I had my BMR tested prior to the pageant so we'd know exactly how many calories I needed to eat (a range) to be in weight loss mode. It was great--personalized just for me!
