Congratulations on your life-style change!  That is the first step!!  I guess my advice is to take it one day at a time.  Don't get discouraged if you have a "bad" day, just try to keep it as consistent as possible with your exercise and healthy eating/no smoking.  Grampahawk also has some great advice that I highly recommend too, find and set a goal for yourself.   Good luck!!

My advice is to find some physical challenge that you want to get fit for. Then find some other people who are intersted in the same thing so you get a sense of being part of a team. "Being in shape" just does not provide the same motivation as having a goal such as running in a 5K race, riding a bike for a 20 mile charity event, backpacking into a wilderness campsite, or climbing a mountain. Find something that will excite you. The main reason that I climb mountains is that I have to stay in shape, not just to be able to do it for the challenge, but also because I don't want to slow down, or let down, the people who are with me. Good luck. Let me know if you find that special goal.
