Running: week 4

This week starts a new phase of running: doing it solo, motivating myself.  It was helpful to have my coworker there getting started with regular running. Alas, he quit for another job and isn't in the area anymore.

I'm still slow.  In fact, I slowed the pace I keep down a bit, rather than trying to go the speed we were going.  I'm trying to be able to cover the whole distance without walking.  I'm stopping fewer times, and am going a lot longer in between rests.  My breathing is getting a bit better, a lot better actually.

I'll be out there Thursday, rain or shine.
